I own several pairs of minimalist sandals and find my new Alpha Black Bears the most comfortable. The leather footbed is very pleasant to wear and the straps are the softest and easiest to adjust. I chose the extra wide fit and very much appreciate this option. To sum up, they are the best in my collection and I’ll be back for more. Excellent customer service too.

I have worn the 5mm black bear for a year and love them for every day wear, but these are really great for more rugged terrain or any time you need some extra grip. I still feel like I'm wearing barefoot sandals, but the extra grippy sole are great additions and I can't really see a scenario these sandals couldn't go with me. Thank you for making excellent products!

I've been looking for a barefoot sandal option now and have tried a couple different brands. However, Toetem sandals are in a whole other class. There is no competition. Pick up a pair for yourself, you'll thank me.

I have been wearing barefoot shoes for years, including sandals, like the Earth runners. These sandals are the comfiest sandals I’ve ever worn! It’s normal for your feet to swell throughout the day, especially when working outside my earth runners would eventually start to hurt my feet. Even with trying to adjust them.

I don’t find that’s an issue with my totem sandals. It’s so easy to adjust the tightness AND the position of the straps if I need to and I really like that you can slide the strap that goes over the top of your foot down towards your toes, or up to your ankle. I was hesitant to get sandals with such a thin footbed the Earth runners circadian was the thinnest I had gone before, but wearing these feels so much later and more comfortable. It’s amazing how much feedback I get from the ground I’m walking on. I do wish they were grounded electrically to the Earth but I’m going to try to do that with some ion sync grounding plugs from earth runners if they have ones that are thin enough. I don’t have very wide or high volume feet so the straps are longer than I need but they thought of this and did some strategic cross stitching so you can trim the straps at the length that you need, genius! I would highly recommend getting a pair of these.

This is my third purchase from Toetem, and first time I've gotten the Blackbear 2.0.
Size templates are accurate and the straps are very comfortable. I'm looking forward to all of my activities the Alpha leather on this pair - just having the comfort of leather and not really having to worry if they get wet.
The only thing I would change is adding a little width to the footbed in the mid-foot, just because I have wide, rather flat feet. But, that's a personal preference - nothing that detracts from the build or quality of these sandals. The straps are adjustable so I don't have any problems with fitting them or keeping them secure. I love this design and I also have to note that I've messaged Rone a couple times since my last purchase and always get a friendly and helpful reply! Great product and service. I'll be a customer for life and recommend Toetem sandals to anyone!

After researching many different brands and models I settled on these and couldn’t be happier. They are well designed, high quality sandals that are confortable yet strong from day 1. Responsive and kind customer service on top of that means I definitely will be returning to Toetem in the future!

First off if you are getting these for a pair of Luna’s just know you are going to have to cut the old straps apart and might need to cut some of the sole of the sandal for them to fit. There really aren’t any instruction and I messed up a few times on the first sandals but did better on the second one. Also I thought all 4 wings were the same only to realize after the first pair was done that they aren’t. The material is great and they are comfy! I am kind of worried about how long they will hold up with pulling the straps in and out of the super tight holes to adjust them. I guess only time will tell on this.

Have been loving wearing these sandals. The leather is soft and comfortable but my feet don’t slip around too much. They have great ground feel as well, wear them almost everyday.
