I am very happy with my purchase. The leather is super SOFT and comfortable. The adjustable straps are convenient and do not irritate my feet.
I love the look and materials of the sandals but have been struggling to dial in the fit/foot position. If I strap them to a secure but comfortable setting I find that my toes move too far to the inside of the sandal and my big toe starts to hang off the edge after walking. The sandal feels great in this situation but my foot is just not quite in the right place. I can get things aligned but the toe strap ends up being really tight. All feet are different and I think I would need the toe strap location about 1/4" farther to the outside of the sandal for them to be perfect for me (size 9 EW and I normally wear a 9/42).
I got these Thursday (5/9) and I have been wearing them ever since. They mold to my feet perfectly and give me secure fit! I’ve owned chacos and earth runners for awhile, and I definitely prefer Toetems over the two. The ease of adjustment is an awesome feature as well!
I own Luna, Shamma, Bedrock, Xero, Earth Runners, and now Toetem. I enjoy all of them , each one has its own unique characteristics that makes them special. What I admire most on the toetem is their ease of adjustment on the fly. No buckles no constant loosening. Once you got them dialed in you are good. You can morph them into any other sandal style. If you are a one sandal guy, buy these they do it all
My second pair of toetem sandals and I love them. They hug your feet with a secure fit with the freedom of barefoot!
